Created for a LA Year 5 numeracy group, but easily adaptable. Chn were set a 'Mad Scientist&' challenge to create potions, but they first had to break the code to be given one of the ingredients needed. Chn had to use a variety of calculations in order to break the codes and then they had to measure out the correct capacity for the potion. A very lively activity that the chn thoroughly enjoyed.
