Challenge high school students to think like scientists with this engaging 5-day Project-Based Learning (PBL) resource. Designed for homeschool learners in Grades 9–12, this interdisciplinary unit explores dinosaurs, fossils, evolution, and Earth’s history through scientific inquiry, data analysis, research, and evidence-based reasoning.

Each lesson requires approximately 30–45 minutes and integrates literacy, mathematics, science, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. Students conclude the week by creating a Scientific Paleontology Portfolio and delivering a museum-style presentation that demonstrates their understanding of paleontological evidence and Earth’s geologic history.
