A short lesson about what it means to be virtuous. This was initially made as an RE lesson for a unit on Christianity in year 6, but it can easily be adapted to a PSHE or citizenship lesson, or a lesson about another religion/humanism.

It involves discussion time, high-level vocabulary, a look at some key Bible verses, a short quiz and a worksheet.

On the activtity, children stick a two-sided hierachy into their books. They then cut and stick virtues in according to where they sit in the hierarchy. After that, there are some writing prompts to reflect upon their choices, and how they can implement their learning into their lives.

My class really enjoyed this lesson. It is nice and bite-sized, with some excellent opportunity for discussion.
