Reflection in a Plane Mirror

The first Word document has a page of recap questions aimed at reinforcing previous work.
It includes light travels in straight lines, the normal, angle of incidence, angle of reflection and the image is virtual, upright, laterally inverted and the same distance behind the mirror as the object is in front. It then concentrates on how to draw an accurate and labelled ray diagram.
The recap requires words to be filled in, questions be answered and a ray diagram to be completed by the student.
The recap is followed by a test, worth 30 marks, to check on learning and understanding.

The second Word document gives the answers to the all the missing words, questions and diagrams, including a mark scheme for the test diagrams.
