One revision sheet for each of these 5 practicals, outlining the method, and focusing on key investigative concepts such as independent, dependent and control variables, equipment, resolution, validity, reliability, means, calculations and drawing, describing and explaining graphs.
More able groups will probably take about 30 minutes on each sheet. Ideal for revision sessions, to add to revision packs in the build up to exams, or to use as a homework or follow up to the practical lesson.
Practical 1 - Microscopes
Practical 2 - Antiseptics
Practical 3 - Osmosis
Practical 4 - Food tests
Practical 5 - The effect of pH on amylase
A great idea and will improve the students' understanding of the practicals, but the resource is littered with typos and mistakes which I wouldn't expect for a relatively expensive resource. Disappointing.

I'm sorry you weren't completely happy with the resource. I have found a couple of mistakes on one of the sheets which I have just changed. I couldn't see any others, but it can be tricky to proof read your own work, and I haven't used all of the sheets yet for my students to find my mistakes!! They are fully editable word docs so it should be easy to amend or add to the resource as you see fit.<br />

An excellent resource that is detailed and relevant to the required practical specification! However, with revision sheets I like to give students the answers so they can self-assess and improve on their answers.
