Safe hands and safe feet - A social story which uses the concepts from Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
It outlines what ‘Safe hands and safe feet’ looks like when travelling on a bus
It uses visual symbols, simple language and easy to understand scenario. To deliver important information of how to behaviour in a positive way to your peers and highlights not safe behaviour.
It has a visual symbol board of what is the correct things to do when travelling on a bus, which can be laminated and used when using the bus.
It was developed for Special Needs students and can be used with very young mainstream children.
There are a few comprehension activities and a supporting social story book.
