This resource is a writing booklet covering a variety of writing skills.
Contains:
• Front cover
• Activity tracking sheet
• 20 writing activities

  • UK and US spellings provided

I use this each morning in my class, the students each take it in turns to pick an activity each morning. The whole class completes the same activity on the same day. Or it could be used as an early finisher activity, or even a starter to your English lessons.

I use this within a SEN school with students working at Reception/year 1 level or entry level 1 or entry level 2 in English.

Activities vary on difficulty; some are easier than others but continues to provide recap opportunities. I have used these journals for the past year and my students love them and I have seen progress within spelling, sentence structure, reading and comprehension from doing one task a day.
