Starter - dot and cross diagrams
Activity - I laminate slides 12-18 and put them around the room, pupils (in groups) are assigned a shape and make (using Molymods) a model of their assigned shape. Pupils move around the room completing sheets (24-25).
Plenary - Using mini WB’s pupils determine the shapes of the compounds on the slides.

Good resource dealing with simple examples. There's a slight error on the 5 coordinate shape, the angles are 120 and 90 (not 180) degrees. It's a shame I didn't spot it until I was showing it!

THE COMPARISION WAS GOOD WITH LONE PAIRS AND WITHOUT. <br /> THE SLIDES WITH ONLY MOLECULES NEED TO BE EXPLAINED.
