30 funny gap-fill stories for Year 6 SATs grammar. Each gap asks for a word class or phrase, and each story has a SATs-style question. Answers included.
The KS2 grammar, punctuation and spelling test (SPaG) expects children to know word classes such as nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. It also uses terms such as modal verb, fronted adverbial and expanded noun phrase. In these stories, children choose a word for every gap, from a collective noun to a superlative, then read their story aloud.
