Tattle forms were a great addition to my classroom - particularly for after break times. The children get a briefing on the purpose of the forms:
- They are used for issues / fallings out that don’t particularly need adult intervention.
- They are not written during learning time - a perfect time I found was during registration.
- They are placed in a box on the teacher’s desk.
- A staff member will check the box towards the end of the day and check in with the child to ensure it has been sorted / their desired outcome has been achieved.
If used properly, tattle forms can encourage reflection, help reduce classroom problems and provide children with a voice.
