This worksheet was created for the GCSE History Crime and Punishment unit on Ancient laws as a an introduction before we started to study Roman history. It gives students an idea of how relevant the Ten commandments are today and what makes our laws different to ancient times.

This could also be used in Religious Education lessons to demonstrate how our laws are now secular instead of based on religion as opposed to countries who have religious laws in place.
