The Law: Citizenship GCSE 9-1 OCR GCSE Exam multiple choice test/quiz

This includes 35 multiple choice questions for The Law section of the Rights, the law and the legal system in England and Wales module of the Citizenship GCSE. It is based on the information from the Citizenship Studies text book from Hodder and is useful for the OCR GCSE, but it would probably be useful for any exam board since it covers a lot of information on the law.

The answers are also included in two formats:

• one looks the same as the question layout but with the answer highlighted in red
• one comes as a table and looks like the mark scheme you would get from the exam board.

In addition there are a couple of revision tasks that pupils can complete once they have done the test. I would say this resource could be used as a 1 hour lesson including some time for peer assessment.

Anyone who has ever tried to create a credible and stringent multiple choice test will know how hard it is and how extremely time consuming it can be! Each of these MC tests took hours! So I hope you understand the pricing.
Many of you may have large departments with non-specialists teaching Citizenship, so I thought it useful to include answers/mark scheme.
