The pack includes:

  • Activity Instructions.
  • .mp4 file containing the song and visuals.
  • .mp3 file containing just the audio.
  • Chord Sheet containing the basic chords used in the verses and chorus.
  • Printable Lyrics.
  • Printable Visuals used in the song.

Syllable Types:
Learning about syllable types is an important way for readers to understand the role that vowels play in words. It also prepares them to be able to read unfamiliar one and two syllable words, since knowing the syllable type means that the reader can pronounce the word properly.
For readers with dyslexia this explicit instruction is invaluable as it unlocks how to read and spell a word. For example, when the closed syllable is known, the reader will understand that the vowel has to be short, and so can read and spell the word with confidence.
