Pupils cut out the pictures, stick them where they want them in the 'bedroom' and then label them in French. Really easy & simple but my very low ability (and behaviourally challenged!) Y7s unexpectedly went nuts over this, I'd never seen them all so focused on anything! When they'd done it, I got them to use the pictures to make sentences with prepositions to say where things were in the room.

I like this too - it's surprising how many kids actually like doing this - and it often takes them forever to cut out!
