Three images to pop into a IWB presentation.
I suggest using like this:
Use large IWB version to demonstrate examples, eg. add numbers to the scales and ask students to help find missing value, perhaps on mini-whiteboards. (See questions for examples of how to vary the questions). Then get students to practice using the six similar questions; answers provided.
Could require students to set up equations using notation before solving, or just to find the missing value using affine reasoning.
