• This teaching resource explains the work of Dr Sheena Wilson (an energy humanities researcher at the University of Alberta, Canada) and Dr Rachel Epp Buller (an artist at Bethel College, USA). They are empowering people to take climate action by connecting with their environment through walking and listening.
• This resource also contains an interview with Sheena and Rachel and offers an insight into careers in climate justice.
• The activity sheet provides ‘talking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Sheena and Rachel’s research and challenges them to go on regular walks to attune to their local environment.
