A lesson looking at three of the main infantry weapons of the English Civil War, the Pike, Musket and Sword. There is a card sort activity to begin, followed by an exercise looking at strengths and weaknesses and an extension activity getting students to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon in different scenarios. I used this lesson with Year 8.
