Where the Wild Things are story resource pack

The pack includes:

DISPLAY BANNER- Large display title 'Where the wild things are' with pictures from the story

DISPLAY BORDER- A display border with pictures of different leaves- this can be printed as many times as you need for a display board of any size

DISPLAY PICTURES- Drawings of the characters in the book and some 'Wild things' and also Max's boat and crown and lots of different plants and trees so you can create a great scene (these are not printed from the book but have been hand drawn by myself)- these are in black and white and colour and in two different sizes

MATCHING PAIRS GAME CARDS- Colour cards with different pictures from the story- these can be used for matching pairs games, snap games or any other games you want to make up

COLOURING PICTURES- Some colouring sheets showing different scenes and characters (again these are using the characters I have drawn myself and are not exact scenes as shown in the book)

WORD CARDS- Words from the story - these are great for including in a display or for use in a writing area

WORD CARD- An A4 decorated word card-great for writing about the story or for display in the writing area

QUESTION CARDS FOR DISPLAY- Questions about the story 'Where the Wild Things are' on decorated cards

BOOK POSTER- An A4 poster with the title, author and illustrator information on

VARIOUS WORKSHEETS- Worksheets relating to the story

MAX'S CROWN TO MAKE- A crown to cut out and make

STICK PUPPET- A stick puppet of Max to make and a worksheet with prompts to help children design their own 'Wild thing' stick puppet

GAME- A 'Wild thing' game- roll the dice and draw different parts of your 'wild thing' to create different wild thing characters
