I've made this for my year 4 class as a revision tool.
Children match up the different word classes to the meaning and then match the examples.
I plan to stick them around the classroom to make this more engaging and active. Children should work in teams to find the different cards.
Could get children to work in pairs sorting them on the table.
Differentiation - Ask different ability to find certain word classes. E.G Lower ability might only look for the nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
Extension - Get children to use the words in sentences using conjunctions to extend the sentences.
