World Cup 2018 Russia - Writing to Describe Unit

An 8 lesson, 50 slide PowerPoint with accompanying resources that focus on many aspects of Descriptive Writing including zoom paragraphs, wow words and emotive language…all linked to the World Cup 2018. Activities include football commentary, match reports and team talks. Whilst this unit can prepare GCSE students for the Writing to Describe element of the course, the resources will work for any class undertaking Descriptive or Imaginative Writing. Includes differentiated activities throughout, extension activities, engaging group learning and lessons that cater to a wide range of learners and styles.
