This final 90-minute lesson is a supportive celebration and showcase of learners’ progress across the two-year GCSE Astronomy programme. The teacher should create a calm, positive environment in which every learner can share an achievement in a format that suits them, including speaking, displaying work, using photographs, presenting with a partner, or contributing in writing. The emphasis is on reflection, confidence, peer appreciation, and realistic next steps rather than assessment. Prepare certificates, learner work, feedback slips, and next-step planners in advance, model respectful audience behaviour, keep contributions brief, and offer additional processing time or a quiet alternative where needed
