Year 7 German Starter Pack

This is a Year 7 German resource pack (150 slides) covering key vocabulary and grammar for the first module.

The pack includes phonics, the alphabet, greetings, introducing oneself, describing personality, numbers, age, birthdays, months, pets and colours. It also builds in essential beginner grammar, including the verbs sein and haben, word gender, and adjectival agreement.

A strong feature of the resource is the listening work: all listening tasks have been created by me using AI-generated voices that sound realistic and natural rather than robotic, helping students engage with authentic-sounding German from the start.

This is designed to provide a very strong foundation for Year 7 German and works as an excellent first module. It can easily last well beyond one half term of lessons, giving teachers a flexible, ready-to-use scheme of work that builds confidence and core language skills from day one.
