A fully planned KS2 suspense writing unit for Year 3–4, built around an original, engaging narrative. Through 11 structured lessons, pupils learn how to create tension and atmosphere using powerful verbs, personification, sentence length, punctuation, sensory detail and “show, don’t tell” techniques.
