To give students at the start of term (but can be used anytime) which allows you to gather a bit of info about their collective interests and how they learn best, to inform your planning. Very easy to use and straight forward - also great to use as an example of evidence to show you are planning for every child.

What is money? KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the contents may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about the evolution of money, from the barter system to the modern-day. We will look at a selection of unusual currencies from the past and discuss the pros and cons of each. We discuss the reasons why money has evolved over time and the students will even get to design their own currency!
The lesson includes a starter activity, a set of case studies, a sorting task, a main activity and a plenary. Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

KS1 PSHE - Living in the Wider World - Year 2
A collection of PSHE resources that have been created to cover the ‘Living in the Wider World’ strand of the PSHE Association’s Programme of Study for KS1.
These lessons have been specifically created for use with students in Year 2.

KS1 Money PSHE - Year 2
A collection of money themed PSHE resources that have been created to cover the ‘Economic Wellbeing: Money’ section of the PSHE Association’s Program of Study for KS1.
These lessons have been specifically created for use with students in Year 2.
They are also suitable for use in schools who have opted to follow the PSHE Association’s Thematic Model.
The lessons included in this bundle provide materials to comprehensively cover the following KS1 PSHE codes: L10, L11, L12, L13, L15.

What is Money?
A brief history of the evolution of money from the barter system to modern-day currencies.
Different Ways to Pay
Students will investigate different forms of money and ways to pay for things including cash, bank cards and electronic payments.
Earning Money
The students will learn about the different ways that people can get money including employment, gifts, prizes, pension payments for the elderly, and interest from a bank account.
Spending and Saving
The students will learn at the importance of saving, as well as learning practical ways to manage their money.
Wants and Needs
The students will learn the difference between wants and needs, and reflect on the reasons why we can’t always have the things that we want.

Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 5 lessons to cover a Drop Down Day (5-6 hours total) introducing British Values to KS3 and KS4
The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 8 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so.
The Drop Down Day covers an introduction to British Democracy, how laws are made, British Identity, British Liberties, a history of British Democracy and Tolerance in modern Britain.
All these individual lessons have been rated very highly by Tes users and are tried and tested in my own department.

A 7 hour KS3 ‘Introduction to Citizenship’ Unit. The unit covers what exactly citizenship is, how our government system works in the UK, how the law affects young people, how we can be active citizens, human rights, different forms of government and immigration. This unit was originally used as the first unit the Year 7s would take in Citizenship, but has since been added to and improved. The original written unit plan is included and everything is entirely editable too.
This includes 7 x 1 hour PowerPoints, dozens of worksheets and clips clips, well differentiated activities and engaging tasks. Useful for PSHCE / Citizenship or British Values.
