Students also look at push and pull factors and the reasons for urbanisation. The lesson includes a range of geographical skills, and information hunt as well as a literacy task. This lesson looks at the main causes causes of flooding as well as some of the damage that can be caused by flooding. Students complete an information hunt on the causes of flooding, as well as a literacy task on flooding. There are a range of collaborative activities throughout. Students finish by categorising the damage caused flooding into social, economic and environmental.
