This is a board game designed to help students to ask questions as per the role play in AQA/ Edexcel. The students advance around the board and have to ask a question as prompted on the board. You can adapt the rules depending on ability - e.g. if a player answers the question asked by another player, they can move forward a square. The first play to arrive at the end wins! Works great as a plenary.

A parallel reading exercise based off of Module 1 of the GCSE Studio textbook: family and friends. Students skim read three very similar texts in French. There are eight differences in total between the texts, pupils try to find these differences and make a note of them in the spaces provided at the bottom. Students can then analyse how these change the meanings of the texts. This activity comes with answers embedded into the PowerPoint and is a great way to encourage students to skim-read for information and is a good way to build vocabulary.

It contains 7 different activities where students have to do a variety of tasks in order to find the right numbers needed and to put them into the correct order to break the code and “escape” the room. The topics covered include: numbers, weather, sports, verbs (present tense) and reading comprehension. The activity comes with instructions and full answers at the end.
