Set of three posters from my classroom. The first chart lists five rights children have as students. The second chart lists the relevant responsibilities these create. The third chart lists ten class rules that will help safeguard students' rights and guide their responsibilities.

Christmas Countdown has six verses and six choruses. Each chorus proclaims the date and the number of days to go until Christmas. Each verse describes what is ‘hidden’ behind each door of the calendar. There are four ‘doors’ in each verse, making for a total of 24 items. (There’s lots of Maths at work here; ordinal numbers, counting up, counting down, summing to make 25 and more. What patterns can your students find?) We’re performing the song as the interludes between other Christmas items (six verses does go on a bit…) but it’s the perfect song for involving lots of kids on stage.

Here’s a set of free posters depicting the main parts of a drumkit. The posters feature large views of essential hardware including the snare,bass drum, floor tom, bass drum pedal, hi-hat and ride cymbal. Each poster is labelled and includes a QR code linking to the relevant Wikipedia page.

This set of three posters outlines the three basic sections of a story: Orientation, Complication and Resolution. Each poster has a scout / camping themed picture, the title in large red letters and features a simpler title in blue and components of the section in black. Orientation (beginning): ‘Scene, setting, situation, characters’. Complication (middle): ‘Problem, Difficulty, ‘Obstacle’. Resolution (End): ‘Solution, Settlement, Conclusion’.

Poster 1: WHO are you moving with? Poster 2: WHAT are you moving with? Poster 3: WHAT is the nature of the relationship. Posters use strong colours and clowns to demonstrate relationships such as mirroring, retreating, circling.

Each key signature is on an A4 page in colour. It shows the key signature with colour coded sharps and flats and the major and related key. Makes for a great display!
