Prime factorisations matching cards

Prime factorisations matching cards

(0)
A card set of values with prime factorisations. A neat use of this is to sort people into partners for another activity; one set of people have the values and one set have the prime factorisations and the people with the corresponding cards have to partner each other.
Line and Rotational Symmetry matching grid.

Line and Rotational Symmetry matching grid.

(0)
A grid in which pupils have to draw shapes that match both the line and rotational symmetry properties. If pupils need more support you can provide them with pictures of shapes to draw; for extension get them to justify why certain spaces cannot be filled.
Forming equations matching cards

Forming equations matching cards

(3)
A set of cards with "real=life" scenarios, linked to equations, which then have solution cards. Pupils have to link the situation to the equation - for differentiation you can give pupils the cards with the solutions on or not.
Straight line graphs matching cards

Straight line graphs matching cards

(1)
Cards with equations, tables of values and graphs. Pupils have to match the equation with the table and the graph. Create extension/differentiation by deleting some values from the table or some lines and have pupils complete the cards.
Horizontal and Vertical Lines Jigsaw

Horizontal and Vertical Lines Jigsaw

(1)
A jigsaw for matching horizontal and vertical lines with their equations; can help with reflections if pupils are struggling with lines, or as a pre-cursor to straight line graph equations.
