Photosynthesis Guided Reading
A reading comprehension task to aid the understanding of photosynthesis, including the adaptations of plants that maximize this process, as well as the factors that affect it.
The resource will cover the key components of photosynthesis, including the role of chloroplasts, how plants have evolved various adaptations to optimize photosynthesis, the role of leaves, the opening and closing of stomata. The resource will also discuss the various factors that can influence photosynthesis, such as light intensity, temperature, and carbon dioxide concentration.
This task also contains a research task that students can complete as an extension.
