Making Maths Memorable

Average Rating4.26
(based on 50 reviews)

Ever since my PGCE I have been convinced that every Maths topic has a unique and interesting way to be taught. 7 years later and I have collected and created 100s of resources to prove my point. All resources, including IB and A Level, are designed to be thoroughly engaging but yet cover every bit of content required with plenty of practise too. Teach LCM with the life of the Cicada bugs or teach proportions using celebrity faces and the golden ratio. All fully animated engaging powerpoints.

I have split the entire course into 10 lessons (content includes much more!). Each lesson includes a bank of exam questions related to the topics with answers; a PowerPoint; Extra questions; and a 20 minute test. The tests are written from the "Extra questions" so be aware if you are using the "Extra Questions" in class. Easily more than 10 lessons worth but use it as you choose. I revised one lesson, tested (and peer marked) the next lesson and began the revision for the following section. *** 100s of exam questions *** *** 10 revision lesson PowerPoints *** *** 10 mini tests ***

I have written a number of mini tests to fit perfectly on to one sheet of A4 (I actually print them 2 to a page so A5!). These tests can be completed and peer marked in the same lesson and will be reused by you many many times over the years. Really easy to mark due to the layout of the test paper and the markschemes included. If you would like editable copies please comment with an email address and I will send you the originals.

PowerPoints written so that a teacher can learn from the PowerPoints and teach from them. Students can use the PowerPoints to learn independently too. Many colleagues have used my lessons on Decision 1 without a strong understanding of Decision themselves. Includes all chapters: Algorithms, Networks, Route Inspection, Critical paths, Linear Programming and Matchings Includes all worksheets, answers and assessments

Easy lessons to pull out when you haven't quite found the time to plan something. Lessons that add to their mathematical knowledge but can easily be slotted in mid topic. Some of these work perfectly for end of term lessons when students ask "Are we going to do something fun today?"
