Learner monitoring behaviour report.

(1)
This is a new style monitoring report designed for learners to reflect on their behaviour and progress in lessons. It is uploaded as a powerpoint document so that you can easily adapt it for your own school and learners. It is absolutely designed for learners to make the biggest contribution to - and reflect on why they are being monitored. I have used this report sparingly and after a detailed conversation with learners who have responded well. On the back is clear information from the Department for Education - clearly identifying that learners have the right to learn and the sanctions available to schools. You can included your own behaviour for learning agreement underneath. This is working well with my learners - I would welcome your feedback.

Eduqas GCSE Music : Eine Kleine Nachtmusik 10 for 10 Registration Revision Activities.

(1)
This is a revision document designed for use in registration sessions but could clearly be used anywhere. It is literally 10 questions to be completed in 10 minutes. It is also useful for form tutors and wider school staff members to see what GCSE music involves by placing a revision activity outside of our normal teaching area. This document includes 10 revision tests, each containing 10 questions. IT IS A PDF DOCUMENT. Revision tests 1 -8 cover the minuet and trio sections in depth and tests 9 - 10 are more general questions about the entire composition. The revision tests move through all sections of Movement III - Minuet and Trio from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. The document is a PDF with 24 slides in total. The first 12 slides are the revision tests. Slides 3 and 4 are a full score of this movement for useful reference. Every slide has the bars from the score included at the top of the page for easy question referencing. Slides 14 -24 are the complete answers.

Eduqas GCSE MUSIC 9-1 Since You Been Gone (Ballard/Rainbow) quick devices revision / starter.

(1)
Quick revision or starter activity for "Since You Been Gone" (Ballard/Rainbow). This is a one slide powerpoint with all music fully embedded. Simply click on the revision focus question and the music will play. All musical examples are edited and short in length - you will not be hearing the full track! All examples are from AOS1 area or linked to Hard Rock Anthems OR Russ Ballard. Clicking on a new question will stop the current music and start the next track. This was created in the latest version of powerpoint - this is where it will work best. There may be playing issues if you open in a previous version of powerpoint. No answers included as they are all self explanatory.

Musical Instruments - Orchestral and Others

PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY! This is a seven slide powerpoint document with fully embedded instrumental sounds. This has been made using the latest version of Powerpoint. YOU WILL ONLY ACCESS SOUND BITES ON PRESENTATION. All instrumental sounds are fully embedded so that when you select an instrument it will play the corresponding sound. YOU WILL NOT SEE ANY VISIBLE SOUND FILES ON DOWN LOAD - THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AS IT SHOULD BE! Each slide will only reveal the family name and instrumental name on click and in PRESENTATION MODE. This means that each family slide could be played with instrument sounds only if you wish. Each slide has clear images of the instruments. Slides are divided into orchestral families: String : Violin Viola 'Cello Double Bass Guitar & Harp Woodwind: Picc, Flute, Oboe, Cor, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Bassoon & Contra Brass: Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, Euph & Tuba Percussion 1 (untuned): Claves, Triangle, Bass drum, Snare drum, Cymbals & Timps Percussion 2 (tuned): Xylo, Glock & Marimba Keyboards: Piano, Harpsichord, Celeste, Synth & Organ This is really useful for a range of activities linked to the aural recognition of instrumental timbre as well as visual identification. I have used this with Key Stage 3 and 4. PLEASE REMEMBER : 1. You will need the latest version of powerpoint . 2. You WILL NOT SEE music files on download. 3. YOU MUST be in presentation mode to activate the sound files. Many thanks

Activities include: Reading notation Building Major Scales Building Natural Minor Scales Identifying Intervals Listening Key Words I have been using this for the last 12 months with my year 9 groups who have gone on to keep this as a useful reference guide to support their GCSE.
