For smaller numbers and a slightly less challenging task I have a level 1 version which can be found here:https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/-12469418 Or why not get both? As a bundle you can buy one and get one for a third of the price! Expanding Brackets Match Up Bundle

2 Resources
This bundle has two documents which contain 30 match up cards each, which display a bracket in the form a(bx+c). The solution to the expanded bracket can be found on another card, which will have another bracket ready to be expanded. Once all cards are placed next to the cards, such that the form in the brackets and its expanded form are touching, it will form a complete loop. The documents differ slightly in the size of the numbers used. The first has a values range from 2…10 and b,c values range from 1…5, the second a values range from 2…20 and b,c values range from 1…15, for that extra challenge. This bundle is ideal for differentiation, in essence all students are working on the same task, however for those who require that extra challenge, the larger numbers can keep them busy. Whilst those who are struggling or have missed a lesson can practice the process of expanding a single bracket without the need for complex calculations.

Minute Maths - Mental Maths Questions

(0)
This booklet contains 2000 mental maths questions, involving all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Difficulty ranges from adding/subtracting two digit numbers only, to then using all operations with 3 digit numbers. Ideal for differentiation. This is a nice quick and easy starter to use to keep on top of those core mathematics skills. Minute maths involves sheets of 20 questions with the idea that students have 60 seconds to answer as many of the 20 as possible, hence Minute Maths. In this booklet there are 10 levels: adding and subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers, multiplying and dividing timestables of up to 12 and up to 15. There are then combinations of all four operations for 2 digit numbers and timestables up to 12 and then 3 digit numbers and timestables up to 15. Each level has 10 different question sheets and each question sheet has 3 strips of the same questions to help with printing/photocopying. Formatting recomendation: alter the font size of a question sheet on its own, then print that sheet and do not save. Altering the size may shift subsequent question sheets onto seperate pages.
