Spanish Reading ~ A Postcard ~ Una Tarjeta Postal Lectura (past perfect)

(2)
This reading is a postcard from a girl halfway through her vacation with her family in Mexico. It features numerous examples of the present perfect tense. The reading has an English-Spanish glossary of new words, 5 reading comprehension questions and a written assignment for homework or in class. Activity idea: have students read the story in pairs. For homework, have students write a postcard as if they were halfway through their trip incorporating at least three sentences in the present perfect tense. They can then read their ‘postcards’ to a classmate, the class or hand them in for marking.
