Year 9 phone holder projects - Weeks 1 to 11 JIG only project. Lower ability project I have uploaded a project that makes the same product but uses finger and lap joints to manufacture the gum ball dispenser. Higher skilled product. Each week has a question that will be discussed in the practical lesson. Each question relates to a big question that is - What impact does the manufacturing have on your carbon footprint? - Each week a homework has been added. A tracking sheet that will be used to assess the learners at the end of the carousel. PLC has been added to the resources where each learner will use them to check their own progress and skills learnt. Each skill that is taught has been photographed and is in the powerpoint. Engineering drawings are added to the slides to teach learners the basics of reading engineering drawings. A workbooklet has been added that I used during lockdown.

UPDATED Resources to help deliver and guidance for teachers which includes templates and examples of work that has been graded. I will be adding other resources at a later date that will resources that will include power points that have tutorials of how to use CAD software (google sketch up) and 2D Design when completing engineering drawings for learners to be able to produce their own work independently from the rest of the class. A teaching PP and Learner PP is supplied for unit 2. I will adapt and change the resources as I teach and will add other resources that I have used.
