These three lessons are part of a Year 8 Gothic unit. The objective is to read The Monkey’s Paw and use the text to practise creative writing skills. Here is an overview of the lessons:
- Completing prediction activities and reading the first half of the story.
- Finishing the story and and completing various comprehension activities.
- Creative writing lesson based on the short story and focusing on the foreshadowing skill.
