A grade Higher English level critical essay on Sylvia Plath's poem 'Tulips'. The essay question chosen was:
"Choose a poem in which the poet creates a vivid sense of a particular time or a particular place. Discuss how the poet’s vivid depiction of time or place adds to your appreciation of the central concern(s) of the poem".
The essay is around 1800 words and interprets the poem in the context of previously unpublished (until 2017) correspondence from the poet to her former therapist.
