A great activity worksheet in which students practice substitution in algebra. I redid this because the original resource no longer downloads. Students always enjoy this and it really helps resolve confusion about the difference between x squared and x times two!
You need a dice per pair of players. Students substitute the number they throw on the dice into different expressions. Highest scorer wins.

Thank you. This is a different type of activity to help students to understand substitution.
This was excellent...thanks! I passed it on to a colleague who also enjoyed it!
Great thank-you. Adapted it for my low ability Y7s.
A good idea and I like the competitive edge as they'll be checking each other's work (and doing twice as much in the process). I like the one that says n / n as it might give rise to a nice discussion.
Great, simple idea. Many thanks for sharing it.
