This is a lesson that I made to help teach the AQA Further Maths Course with high-ability Year 11s. The lesson goes through the many ways that you can simplify an expression by collecting like terms, expanding, factorising and using algebraic fractions. There are plenty of examples throughout with fully worked solutions as well as loads of questions for students to try. There are also some past paper exam questions as a plenary. If you click on the green ticks on the slides, they reveal the answers to the exam questions.
