A Black History lesson for KS3 and KS4 students on the celebration of Kwanzaa. Students will learn about its origins and conception, what it is and why it is celebrated, who celebrates it, what is involved, the seven principles and much more.

I have also included by quick comprehension questions to check understanding, discussion points for you and your group, and extended writing exercises for your students to work on afterwards such as essays, a newspaper article writing activity, a poster making question, a diary entry, constructing and delivering a presentation and more.
