This lesson looks at the way a character is created and the difference between denotation and connotation.
It is a largely visual lesson and allows students to look at how characters are presented through moving image which can then be followed on by characterisation in the written form.
I used this with a low and high ability group and they all enjoyed and gained valuable skills =
