Materials are an introduction to queries in Access. \nThey were created for a one off lesson, but could easily be developed further (excel file with suspect data provided). SuspectsDatabase.txt is NOT a txt file - it's actually an Access file with a table prepopulated with suspects. The file extension needs changing (.accdb).\n\nThe materials should be self explanatory. Teacher PPT has a starter activity and the answers. Hope they are of use to someone.

Great lesson idea, which can easily be expanded into a scheme of work. Resources provided are fantastic: love the PowerPoint template - professional quality. Many thanks for sharing.

BTW Rquel, to change the file extension, you first have to show file extensions in Windows Explorer - Go to Folder Options, click on View tab, untick 'Hide extensions of known filetypes'), click Apply; then, change file extension to ..accdb.
