A set of 6 different investigations that all end up with discovering e. Each investigation is independent of the others, and they make use of different technology (in Investigation 5 some instructions are given to generate a random number on the Graphics Display Calculator that we use, so may need adapting). Could be used as a work through pack, or as a carousel style activity with 10 minutes for students to work on each and then move on to the next one.
There are two versions, one to be used with students with a knowledge of calculus, and one adapted for those without this knowledge.
