Unscramble the Picture – Cut and Stick Puzzle (FREEBIE)

This simple and engaging cut-and-stick activity encourages children to look carefully at pictures while developing important early learning skills.

Children cut along the dotted lines to separate the four picture pieces. The pieces have been scrambled, so children must carefully look at each section and work out where it belongs. Once they have figured out the correct order, they paste the pieces into the four boxes to rebuild the picture.

This activity is perfect for early years and KS1 children and can be used as a morning starter, independent activity, early finisher task, or part of a themed lesson.

What’s included:
• 1 printable cut-and-stick puzzle sheet
• A picture divided into four sections for children to unscramble
• Clear boxes for children to paste the pieces in the correct order

Skills developed:
• Visual discrimination
• Problem solving
• Sequencing
• Fine motor skills (cutting and sticking)
• Attention to detail

A quick, fun and low-prep activity that helps children practise important thinking and fine motor skills.
