In this lesson pupils will consider who the puritans were and how they viewed Elizabeth the I. Pupils will consider some major developments of the Puritan cause such as the College at Douai and Campion’s mission. Pupils can use this resource to compare the threat that the puritans posed to that of the Catholics in England at the time.

This resource is aimed at pupils completing the Elizabethan England module of an AQA History GCSE.
