Endings which sound like /ʃəl/ - spelt ‘cial’ or ‘tial’ - word search / table to extract words KS2

1. Learners find -cial and -tial ending words in the word search. They extract each word they find into a table, categorising each word they find (including the exceptions).
2. Children highlight unfamiliar words. They look up the definition of each word they haven't seen before and then put these words into sentences.
3. Learners are challenged to create a poster explaining the rule they have learnt.
