Enlargement using car badges/logos

A lesson made for year 9 as an introduction to a transformations module.\n\nStarter: give out car badges and get students to comment on the maths in the design (all have reflection and/or rotation symmetry).\n\nWorksheet 1: Students enlarge a simplified version of the Eddie Stobart logo on plain paper (lots of different levels - from positive integer scale factors to negative and decimal scale factors)\n\nWorksheet 2: Students find (by measuring) the scale factor of each enlargement and (by drawing lines) the centre of enlargement
