Some students find the prospect of balancing equations too much and find flowcharts much easier (if you succeed in persuading them to draw flowcharts everytime they see an equation).
These worksheets gradually introduce new operations into one sided equations and provide the flowcharts needed to solve them. Most give integer answers.
