EYFS maths counting activity. Each hedgehog has a number on from 1-5. The children need to recognise the number and then give the hedgehog the correct number of items.
I use this resource in my classroom by adding playdough to the hedgehogs and the children have to give the hedgehog the correct number of spikes (matchsticks).
You could use other autumnal resources such as conkers or acorns for the children to count with this activity.
Please note only the hedgehogs with Numbers 1-5 are included.
