Four traditional fables:
The Ant and the Grasshopper
The Hunter, the Horse and the Stag
The Hare and the Tortoise
The Goose that laid Golden Eggs
The children used the planning sheet to plan their own writing based on one of these four traditional fables, and then I displayed their writing underneath the 'Fables' display sign.
