Some active tasks to make a dull topic more interesting.
1 - students each have a vocab sheet. On the wall are the posters with some of the information. Students walk around the room completing the English on their sheets. A completed sheet is available at the end for the slow to finish, or for checking purposes (weak classes sometimes have the English on the wrong lines at the end)
2 - a quiz quiz trade game with cards and the PPT gives instructions on how to spin this out further at the end into aural dominoes.
3 - a tarsia puzzle game where children match the English / French to make an interesting shape.
